James joined GulfStar in 2010 from Ladenburg, Thalmann & Co. Inc. in New York where he served as an Equity Research Associate for more than two years, covering the Power and Utilities industry. In this role, James was responsible for research coverage of 18 large- to small-cap Power and Utilities companies. Prior to joining Ladenburg, James served as a Summer Clerk for Sabin Commodities in New York, working on the trading floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
